Application System Analyst- API Support

Description:

We are looking for Application System Analyst for our client in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This is a 6- month contract with the possibility of extension. ***This is 100% remote opportunity*** Job Description: • Under minimal supervision, plans, designs, tests, implements, supports, and analyzes programs and software. • Consults with users to identify current operating procedures for departmental changes, defines system requirements, and identifies programming and/or application functional requirements • Based upon technical and procedural information, recommends designs for new or updated systems, and develops system specifications and programming guidelines. • May also document application changes for program development and corrections and help ensure that all change management policies and procedures are being applied. • For technology projects, may be responsible for creating and maintaining relevant project management documents, including work plans, status reports and risk assessments, and may help guide project tasks among the Application Systems Analysts team.

Responsibilities:

For API Healthcare (Time and Attendance and Staffing and Scheduling) –

  • Using ServiceNow, manage the intake and resolution of tickets
  • Working directly with end users analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents. This may include analysis of ancillary components such as desktop and laptop hardware, web browsers, plugins, etc.

Coordinate with other IS teams as needed to fully resolve end user incidents
Update technical documentation as needed

Education and Experience:

  • 2 years of relevant experience planning, design, testing, implementation, support, analysis of programs and software, and or a participant in multiple phases of an integrated system implementation
  • Associate degree- required
  • Bachelor’s Degree- preferred
